New to here and Ford trucks

Shortest version of this. Used to have a Ram 2500 that i got to pull the camper we bought in 2019 (30ft). Ram died in the middle of a long trip just after I had my first heart attack. Both sat and sat while health got worse. Got told am in full on heart failure and never returning to my junk yard mechanic job. So got my crap from work which included an older but massive cornwell roller. Traded that for this beast about a month ago. Have never had a Ford truck before let alone a dually. First plan was to take off the service box but i've kinda grown to like it while i wait for my new tags to show up in the mail (thank you covid for making it so i can't just go to the DMV and do things). So at this point i've cleaned it up a little, added led floods to the back and intend to add some to both sides and eventually the front, along with a total of 4 camera setup (front, 2 on the rear and one for the back of the camper it will pull). Even just came across a compressor setup in the box that i'm trying to figure how to make work for me. (Basic idea is to make it a toy pulling, mobile mechanic so i can fix what i need when i need and have it with me when pulling or whatever may happen) Always open to thoughts, ideas, insight. Tips and tricks and any knowledge that might be useful in fixing up, upgrading, tinkering with an 00 350 5.4 sd drw and where to find some of the "not at your regular autoparts store" items

New Forum Member-Andrew

Hi All,
I'm Andrew. New to the Forums here. Just picked up a 1972 Ford F-250 Ranger XLT Camper Special from a field here in my town. Done a few things to it already, just rebuilt the carb, did valve cover gaskets, and did some long overdue maintenance to the old girl. She's somewhat of a rare-ish truck, to have both the Ranger XLT package(top of the line) and also the Camper Special Package. I'm super excited to get to work here on this truck and bring her around. She's not going to be a show truck by any means, but just a good going-to-town-rig. Below are some pictures of her.

Hey, I'm a new b and have not lurked (to the best of my knowledge). I just bought my 3rd Superduty, two 6.0 and a 6.7. I have owned 5 or 6 other Ford trucks over the years. I belong to other forums and have found helpful information, hoping as I learn my new '21 F250 I will be able to be helpful. I think however I will be able to learn and obtain information here.

Thanks for allowing me to join.

hey all! good to officially be a part of FTE. I've been lurking for a few years now as I've been restoring a '74 f100 style side custom. it's coming a long nicely for a first time resto project. I'm attempting to restore to factory setup as much as possible, with a few minor tweaks/upgrades. I'll get some pics up for documentation at some point! just wanted to say hi before I start demanding answers!

New member here 🤟🏼 2002 F250 5.4L XLT with 160K located in Long Island, NY. This certainly aint my first Ford. Current owner of my since new 03 Limited 7.3 Excursion and had a 06 SuperDuty Harley Davidson Edition F350. I bought this 5.4L as a work truck in hope to plow this winter. Previous owner had it since new and took very well care of it. Heres some pics.

Already started the plow install haha

Hello Everyone,
I am a new member, that has been stalking the posts in the background for awhile. My daughter will be driving soon and she really wanted an old truck that we could work on together for her first vehicle. I bought an all original 1986 F-150 with a straight 6, 4.9L that was in the back of his grandparent's barn. It needs a lot of engine work, it appears that someone had done a lot of their own engineering under the hood, but it will give me and my daughter plenty of stuff to bond over.

I will create a photo gallery and start uploading photos in the next day or two, and then start pestering everyone with questions.

New member here

I have been in and out of this forum reading technical diagnostics on the different trucks I am working on. Usually I can find a solution pretty quick from reading other posts, but now find myself up against a problem I am having trouble diagnosing. I am working on a 98 F250 5.4L 4x4.

Thumbs up 1960 Ford F100 Custom Cab (Dads ol’ truck)

Howdy everyone...

My name is David & I have just joined FTE for the first time... Probably should have joined about 6 years ago before I began the restoration on my dads ol’ 1960 F100... It took me that long because it was a Full Frame Off Resto... + I had to spread it out to afford the costs associated with it... I have often said if I knew what it would have cost before I started, I probably would not have done it... but history goes once I got into it for a few thousand I couldn’t NOT see it through... It was restored last year in June 2020 which is also the month of my b.day...
The neatest thing is I let my mom drive it out of the garage for the first time in about 45 years... It was an awesome day!!!
Anyway, that’s who I am and what I’ve been working off and on for the last 5+ years...
