Greetings comrads!

Hello everyone my name is Dallas and this is my 1995, 5.0 F250 long bed (Sally). I've had her for about two months and brought her back to life after what I have discovered was a long, hard, unkept life. She had been sitting for several years and had been picked apart during that time. Of course, I just had to have her because hey, who wouldn't want a truck that's been sitting for years and picked apart as their daily driver🤷‍♂️? Anyhow, its come to my attention that several big surgeries are in the near future for ole Sally to get her tip top. I'm glad to have found this site and hope that the shared knowledge from the group can serve to be nothing but helpful! Thanks y'all, and feel free to inbox me if you want! Happy trail's!

Hi everyone, I've been lurking since buying a 70 f100 to restore. I ended up passing it on as it was pretty shot and got myself a 78 f250 2WD. I'm looking forward to using all of your experience and passion to get this one back on the road.

400 motor

Cheers

John

New guy, no Internet experience

Thanks for the welcome,

I've only posted my 2nd one in 11 years here. I'm not much for posting or anything. I need real help. Thought I would post here since I get such good information from your threads.
I don't know if you have a specific 6.0 forum. I've posted somewhere on here but only got a joker for a reply.
I tried to be respectful, but what can you do with people like that.

Can't wait to burn some diesel!

Thanks for the warm welcome Fellas!

Go the diesel site, then to 6.0 - it's a good community.

Joined to learn about the new SD’s

Currently have a 2018 F-150 3.5EB XLT Sport.

We bought a camper that weighs 8500lbs wet, which the F-150 pulls easily, but I’m close to maxing out my payload with the tongue weight being near 1000lbs, so I’m in the market for a SD.

Newly joined Gearhead

Recently purchased a 2017 Ford F150XLT with the 5.0 engine, I've owned several Ford trucks in my lifetime. My previous Ford was a 1999 Ford F350 Super Duty with 7.3 Diesel. I loved that old truck.
I just bought my 2017 F150 and had been doing some research when I found your forum pages, packed with all sorts of good information. There are some options I want to add to my truck and want to do it right, read what y'all have done and what works best; Tow Mirrors, Brake controller and a B/U camera, etc. My truck has aftermarket wheels and tires that look awesome but stick outside a couple inches so I might end up adding fender flares too.

I'm new here, I have a 2010 XLT that has a Raptor look. I like the new tailgates .
Especially the black panel. Interested if anyone has been able to upgrade from 2010 to 2015 or higher?
I have a 1922 Model T also, I've had a Bronco 87' probably one of my favorites. I had an Excursion 2000.
I liked it a lot too. But Im happy with my 2010 , I changed the hood, fenders, grill, headlights, taillights, bumpers, rear bed, rear axel , front and rear shocks. I changed the seats from a King Ranch to my truck. Everything that was black is Glossy Tuxedo Black. Flairs, handle's, topper. The rest a Rust Metallic. I thought I was done till saw that cool looking tailgate on a 2018. I saw one at work, I asked the guy " he said it was stock". I picture it Burnt Orange Metallic with the panel in Tuxedo Black. Ford letters in Burnt Orange against the black Metallic. I dont really have anything against any F-150s after 2014. The grill is ok I guess, the headlights ok, the tail lights I eventually will get used to. I think its just me, not turned on from 15 to 20, If I was going to buy a F- 150 it would be from 10-14 which one could pick one up for a really good price. Hey if you bought something newer, cool I dig the Tailgate! Actually just kidding I like the 78-79 F-150.
I had a 53 GMC , I had to settle with just one. Actually some newer trucks are impressive.
If I won the lotto I would rather trick out a 78 F-150 then buy a new Raptor. But that's who I am. Glad to meet ya!

New to wrenching and learning all I can

Hi there my name is Melissa and I am the owner of a 1984 ford f150, 2 wheel drive, straight 6, named Betsy, with a bed shell i converted into a camper that I live in full time. My f150 has rolled over the mileage so Im not sure the mileage but she is well warn for sure. Im very new to wrenching and honestly embarrassed that I really knew nothing about maintaining my vehicles until now. I don't think I could have asked for a better rig to learn on then old Betsy though and I'm grateful for the opportunity to learn.

Taken in the first month of purchase at the begining of our journey
