yes, a classic, but they cut the clip short - they missed the complaint part:
I want to complain!
You want to complain! Look at these shoes. I've only had them three weeks and the heels are worn right through. If you complain nothing happens, you might as well not bother. And my back hurts, it's not a very fine day and I'm sick and tired of this office...

And don't forget before he walks into the argument office he accidently walks into the abuse department where the guy starts calling him names!
Yeah, but I'm not letting back on track until I put in a plug for a bit they (MP) did called "It's The Brain", about deja vu. Anyone remember that one? That had to be one of my all time favorites...
The problem I see with using Nitrogen in my tires, is that I change pressure fairly often, whenever I change load. I can't afford the nitrogen in the first place, I certainly can't afford to go somewhere where they can put it in every time I want to load the camper, hook up a trailer, haul gravel, etc.
I does seem like it would make sense in the car though, where the pressure never needs to change.
Seems like I am sneaking into a deflated thread.......
My '08 Expy came with Nitro filled tires. Noting that not all gages are on spec....these tires are holding virtually same PSI since at least April this year, when I purchased the truck. I do not know if this is a dealer add or if the N came from the factory.
I think I am going to have N put in my wife's Cadillac tires. Mainly because they retail at approx $ 250.00 each. The only time I get close to the car is when it needs gas. N may be worth the price so I don't have to be that concerned about tire maintenance.
Okay, this has gone on long enough. Ever hear of the Ideal Gas Law? Perv - nert? PV=nRT? Heat capacity of air is 1004 Btu/lbm-R, nitrogen is 1041, and oxygen is 916. Virtually the same. No differ-ance, wie miseur?
Go ahead, get some N2 for yer tars. While you're at it, get a Tornado air intake and the magnetic thingy that breaks up fuel clusters for your fuel line.
You negate what happens to the moisture in air when it heats up, oxygen leaching and oxidation. Also, where did you get that number because air doesn't have a specific capacity as it varies based on humidity and pollution content, and that's energy required per degree of change. If you look at the properties of nitrogen verses air, the heat transfer ability and the holding ability, well, the gap becomes wider with increasing pressure, plus the double whammy of water evaporaton causing increased pressure which causes more heat, which increases pressure, etc. Maybe the US Air Force and most air lines have a bunch of dummies working for them and should hire you instead of spending their money on this? Just a thought, sounds like a possible career path for you.

Geez, spike, it seems you suffer from the lack of human contact in the great state of Wyoming.
Thankfully, it is my money I will be spending on the nitro and not yours. One of the things I don't buy is smart *** comments as I take your Tornado reference to be. So while I am happy that you can do math, it doesn't mean much to me....and BTW, don't think you can seduce any body with that French accent either.
How's this for some heavy-duty claims? All brought to you by the folks at n2generator.com:
Drivers: Are You Driving on Nitrogen?
Save fuel (fuel economy improved by 5%)
Save tires (improve tire wear by 20%)
Reduce emissions into the environment
Avoid false pressure readings from Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems
Enjoy a better ride

Steve
i bet they really did get those numbers. but i bet you could get the same numbers by checking you tires and keep the presur right....but it is much simpler to do with N then with air....
Sorry. Didn't mean to use French to seduce you. Opinion is all I have, FWIW. Air Force is probably using air, but charged for nitrogen so they can afford to run Area 51.
