Was wondering if anyone has done the 4" lift kit to a SD truck with the PS diesel? Trying to decide between the two. Does anyone know the differnce the kits contain?
I think that the skyjacker can be bought as a system with replacement rear springs (which is what i would do) and the pro comp is add a leaf and block. I have a4" rancho all spring on my 2001 350 PSD CC 4x4, havent't had trouble with it but I wish I went bigger and I am going to go bigger. I know people who have 6" and 8" skyjacker and really like them. Pro comps don't seem to be to popular and I have heard some people have an issue with their springs sagging. Guys up in the Superduty forum have a lot of experience with lifts maybe some of them will chime in to tell you what they think.
i agree. i just recently went to an offroad shop that swore by procomp but recently took 3 6 inch suspensions off some dodges because of a 2 inch settling problem that occurred of a year duration. he took them back and all he orders now are skyjacker, superlift, and rancho.
