I have an 04' FX4 Screw and plan on going with the procomp 6" lift. The lift is 3" rear and 6" front, but the rear is lifted by blocks instead of leafs and I didn't find a leaf kit to raise the back made by procomp. skyjacker makes a 4" leafspring but then the truck wouldn't sit level. Is there any way I can raise it another inch up front?
do you have a leveling kit? alot of guys stack their leveling kits ontop of the lift kit coil-overs. since you're only looking for another 1", I'd say maybe grab the 1-1/2" one from Autosprings
Me too, guess we F150 people all think alike. This very morning I was thinking, man if I just had another inch (new girlfriend who is 17 years younger than me).
Of course, to be politically correct in Canada, what I really want is another 25 mm.
there is nothing wrong with adding a 1.5" leveling kit on top of a coil-over..... do not stack it on top of another spacer though. what i would recommend is to first install the lift and see what you get..... it is very common for these lifts to actually sit a little high in the front.... you just might see it sit level with the 4" spring pack in the rear and the regular lift components up front. then if not, you could always add the leveing kit afterwards, but thats how i would do it.
another idea, you might be able to use the 4" lift with the blocks from a 4x2 truck in the back, I think the difference between those and the stock blocks from a 4x4 is about an inch.
if you are lifting the truck with AAL's and not lift blocks, you should contact Autosprings. They sell a 3" block that is designed to replace the factory 4x4 1-5/8" block and give you 1" more height.
you can combine the 4" leaf pack with the 3" block to acheive 5-6" of rear lift...then you could stack leveling kit up front...I know plenty of guys on F150online.com who run 37-38" tires with that setup
