What kind of shocks are on my truck factory equip.?? (see my sig. below).
I want to put a set of shocks around my truck, but can't decide between Rancho RS5000s or Trail Master SSVs. Doesn't the new FX4 package come with Ranchos? Anyone recommend a certain brand?

More than than likely Motorcraft. Who makes those, I don't know.

I know the full size trucks with the FX4 package come with rancho's. I don't know about the Rangers. The 2002 Ranger FX4 came with Bilstien shocks. The FX4 package that was available on the 2002 Ranger is now on the 2003 as the FX4 Level II.
The FX4 package has Rancho's but thats only been out for the last 2 years. So you probaly have just regular shocks or possibly Bilstein's (very unlikley).

IMO, go with the Ranchos... I have the 5000s on both my Explorer and my B2 and they are great both on and off-road
