spent yesterday putting my stage 2s in and was supprised how easy it went no real problems. I started about 9 and would have been done around 2 but my roommate came down for the wekend and I let him do some stuff to keep from being bored (let him looses valve cover bolts and injector hold down. Stuff that he couldn't really screw up) When I was putting the passenger side back together he decided he would put the oil galley plug back in and dropped it. I looked around everywhere but couldn't find it (hopefully my motor won't either) so went to the dealer and luckely they had a truck comming up from Baltimore at 3:30. Waited around for 2hrs and got it and put the rest of the truck back together.
Starting was a real pain. Crack the fuel bowl till it filled than the plugs on the top og the head till got oil and just cranked and cranked and finally got it to fire. Lots of white smoke for 5-10mins
When I test drove the first time I thought I was going to wet my pants. All I can say is WOW It doesn't even compare to chiping. I can hit 35* boost at will.
Only bad thing I can say is my egts are too hot to try and tow any. I think I'll be ok once IC in and get chip reburnt
When I road in it I def was grinnin. Mouth wide open staring at the smoke. Then Wes would hit it and my face would be planted on the back window. Def a fun ride. Rated 10 on the "Buttometer" lol will be off the charts when you get the right tunes Wes. CONGRATS!
Coon I got stage 2s from jim at roosewood. All I can say is WOW! I got to give you a ride some time. I have to ga back to school sunday around 5 and wont be back till second weekend in november
OOOOO MANNNN!!!! This just makes me want my injectors back even worse. Did you throw a 17* in there to? If not how is it working with the 15* pump, throw a CEL yet? I am hoping that i will have mine back thursday morning and back in thursday night.
I still have the stock pump and can run out of oil pretty quick on higher settings. Not as bad as i thought it would be through. Its almost like its got 3 stages. Little turbo lag then boost shots to 15* than all of a sudden hold on cause your pinned in teh seat and boost pegs out
