its a 5th wheel/goose neck tower...

only the cab and front clip or stock, the bed the rearend is all done by one of the POs, the engine is not right, nor would the trans, or the font hubs...

it would fit just like anyother truck i bet its not much longer or taller then anyother F350 long bed...

But it is a nice truck.

Monument = must be in Colorado.

No 428's factory installed in F100/350's. 1966/70 passenger cars only.

Brady, what's wrong with the C6? It could have come with a C6.

First C6's available in F100/350's = 1968 (360/390 only thru 1972).

1973/76: 360/390/460 / 1977: 351M/400/460 / 1978/79: 302 (optional-C4 was standard A/T offered) 351M/400/460.

Not that it applies here, but all DRW F350's were only sold as a Cab & Chassis thru 1979.

1980 was the first year Ford offered a DRW Styleside Pickup-F350's only.

but the C6 would have needed to be changed, it might have come with a C6 just not the one that is in it now. so i guess that the DRWs would be stock if it was bought as a cab and chassis.....

this is why these trucks are so much fun, its the story behind the truck that i like.

Why would the C6 have to be changed?

There are some internal difs, but...

The case is the same part number for 1968/76 F100/350's / 1965/71 car 390's / 1966/70 428's / 1968/70 428 P/C's = D3TZ-7005-C.

Besides, we are only going by the for sale ad. Y'all know that on sale day, 352's & 360's magically become 390's. 390's magically become 428's.

Some 352/360/390's magically become Merc 410's.

For all we know, it might even be a 332 from 1958/59 cars, or the Edsel 361, used only in 1958.

I didn't have to type all that scheiss, I prolly coulda just told you in one sentence.

But some peeps here need proof positive.

Someone will prolly chime in and ask how a 1973 part number can be used any earlier than 1973.

The answer is: Ford updates part numbers, 10's of 1000's a year.

Keeping track of all that scheiss was a PITA back then, a Royal PITA now, because most peeps on FTE are totally unaware of that fact.

One has to type the original part number, all the replacements.

Here's one: B-1012 replaced by: B-1012-A replaced by: COAZ-1012-A replaced by: C9AZ-1012-A replaced by: E6DZ-1012-A.. Lug Nut!

E6DZ-1012-A has been replaced again, prolly 5 more times knowing Ford. But I ain't gonna bother looking to see what all those *(*^#% replacement part numbers are.
