What wheels will fit a 1975 F350 Dually?
I have a 75 F350 dually, it has 16" split rims on it and I just wanted to see if anyone could tell me what year ford wheels will work, or even dodge. I have found a set for sale 1972-1993 Dodge, I'm just not sure...it has coined wheels, so i thought that any older ford or dodge wheel that's coined should work but just wanted to be sure

I went thru this on my own 74 F350 dually , I needed the coined lug holes, and wanted 1 piece non splits. I found the wheels I needed from a 1979 F350 dually, I`m not sure if these wheels were used on any earlier F350`s or not. I believe in 1980, Ford went to the flat lug holes, with flanged nuts. On my rims, most have Firestone stamped into the wheel, although a couple say "Budd 16x6". One thing to consider, is that on my 74 at least, that the width of the tire can cause issues. I used to run Michelin 235/85R16 tires on the rear, but the sidewalls between the inner & outer tires would lightly touch each other. It wasn`t enough to cause a problem really, just lightly "polished" the sidewall at the bulge, but I didn`t like it.(Even though I ran it like that for a few years.) For about the past 14 years, I have ran the taller & narrower 7.50R-16 radials, which does not ever touch each other. My current rears are Michelin XPS Rib 7.50R16`s, but it seems that this tire size is not very popular these days, so getting that size could be a problem down the road. I suppose that I could use a 215/85R16, but they are a bit shorter. Up front I use the 235/85R16`s. My truck is a ramp truck race car hauler, so it carries a lot of weight on the rear tires, the deck is 1700lbs, plus about 3000 lbs for the car, and a few hundred for tools and spare parts, plus my pit scooter hangin` off the back.
