Unbelivable.......I have been involved in another accident. For those of you following my saga, thats right, a third time in two months!
1st- I hit a tire and wheel doing 65 MPH after it came off the dump truck in front of me.
2nd-While my truck is being repaired, my rental gets hit by a fallen tree during Hurricane Ike.
3rd- a 19 year old girl swurves to avoid a car that was entering her lane of traffic and hits the new front bumper that was just put on following the tire/wheel incident. My bumper hit her Ford Escape directly above her driver's side rear wheel. This, like an episode of cops, made her spin out, cross in front of me, go up an inbankment, hit the concrete median, bounce back into the road way, and roll her Escape completely, landing back on her wheels in the entrance of a near by business.
Fortunately both girls in the car were not injured. They both had their seat belts on and both got nailed by the air bags, but both walked away.
Unfortunately, she was not insured. I have had the truck checked out and it appears the only thing I need to replace is the front bumper (again), which her father has agreed to pay for.
I'm on a roll! Three accidents, none of them my fault or even avoidable on my part, in such a short amount of time. Anyone want to lend me their truck?
Here is a pic of her Ford Escape after the roll over.
Wow, by your description and the pic that looks like a nasty wreck!! glad to hear that everyone is ok!! how do people get on the road with such new vehicles w/o insurance??
You need to like...stay home for a while or start riding your bike to work or something.
First of all, good thing no one was hurt badly. That girl probably just learned a very tough lesson, and even though she was uninsured she'll definitely end up paying a big price for that accident...
Second, I'm glad through these three accidents your truck has fared so well. Perhaps a testament to why we prefer to drive these big beasts.
Good luck in getting everything fixed..
And seriously...go buy a bike. The kind with pedals..
don't sell that truck.... it just has to get the bumper it really wants put on it..... think about an upgrade to a full front brush guard.....the truck seems to be hinting at that, maybe even a winch.

Imagine what would have happened to me on a bike! I'll stick with the truck, although, it sure feels like I'm driving a big target.
I have never been a fan of Ranch Hand bumpers but I'm thinking that may be the way to go following recent events.
Don't buy a bicycle, imagine how banged up you'll be when you wreck that thing! Man I'm sorr to hear about your misfortune again... maybe 3rd time's a charm and you're on the upside now?

Good point! Ive been looking at the bull nose model. That ought to fend off flying tires and mini SUVs.
