Ray,
If it has a house on it, it will be at about a 13 mill rate. If bare land about 11 mill rate. Someplace between 4k and 6K per year.
Tim
"The Assembly set the property tax rate at 9.98 mills, or $998 for every $100,000 of borough-assessed property value. Last year the property tax rate was 10.326 mills.
According to the borough, the average Mat-Su home is worth $209,537, so the average tax bill will start at about $2,091. " SOURCE ADN

Don't believe anything in the ADN rag!! My house on 1 acre was appraised at $148000 last year and I paid $1981 in tax? That is a 13 mill rate! Fact!!!!

Hello My Name is Jason. I live in Anchorage with my wife and 10 month old son. I am a geology student at UAA. I have a 59 F100 custom Cab complete with a 390 Police Interceptor motor hooked up to a C6 Trans and a 9inch with 3.56 gears. I have had the truck since i turned 16 but I have never driven it as it needs work. A friend has recently spurred me forward to get some work done on it so hopefully it will be up and moving within a month. If anyone knows of a 59-72 4x4 frame that needs a home let me know )
We're over off of Raspberry and Northwood but my truck is in North Eagle River. The front end isn't the problem it's the lack of a transfer case crossmember. I have been told that I can use a universal tranny crossmember with out an issue especially if I box the frame. But Ive also been told that it's easier to just swap the whole frame.. suppose I should get it runnin first )

i might have a crossmember for you from a 70's ford
So I bought an 1993 F350 CC 4x4 (351W) from an Elmendorf Auction. I call it Big Blue. Only 61 k original miles. Well, some $3500 later she's right and rolling. It's an awesome ride, but is a little short on power for hauling my 2900 lb camper.
Hi All,
I'm another of those "been gone for awhile, but I'm still around" types! Hi to AKBronco96 and mlb4966 (you guys may remember me as heavnbound the first Alaska Chapter Leader!)
Anyway, things got really slow here and we all but disbanded. Glad to see it's somewhat resurrected!
Got a question maybe one of you motorheads can answer. I just spent 45 minutes trying to put a snap-on winterfront on my truck for the upcoming season. I have LightForce Lights and factory fogs so I needed it to go behind the bumper. Anyway, what is the purpose of the skirting between the radiator and the grille at the top of the radiator? I miss the old days when you could just slide a sheet of cardboard down between the radiator and grille and be done with this! Now it's a project! Can this skirting be removed without causing something like the rear tire going flat or my radio not working or the power windows to act nuts?
