What exactly does this flash do for a truck?Ive had missfire while driving when engine is cold for 15 minutes for about a month now.Do you guys think if i have this done it might clear up this problem or maybe something more serious?

Have you plugged a scanner in to see if it's throwing any codes?

P0263 - Cylinder #1 Contribution/Balance - Probable Causes: Power cylinder, valve train, or injector
P0284 - Cylinder #8 Contribution/Balance - Probable Causes: Power cylinder, valve train, or injector
P0403 - Exhaust Gas Recirculation Control Circuit - Probable Causes: Open circuit, short to ground or voltage, EGR valve
P0528 - Fan Speed Sensor Circuit No Signal - Probable Causes: Mechanical fault, short to voltage, open circuit, short to ground
P0611 - Fuel Injector Control Module Performance - Probable Causes: Internal FICM error

I'd try to clear the codes and see which ones pop back up then work from there. What year is your truck and how many miles?

If injectors 1 and 8 are failing it could be why you are feeling the misfire as the fire order is 1-2-7-3-4-5-6-8 so 1 would fire right after 8.
