Oh Oh,,here it starts,,my 04 f350 psd dually,,I think is finally starting to act up,,I have 64,000km roughly 38,000miles,,and it just started to smoke like a chimney. I was not far from home,,parked it in the garage and shut it down. I had to wait for the smoke to clear,,popped the hood,,but everything looks good,,the smoke kinda has a rich diesel smell,,so I'm thinking that it's an injector. Does anybody else have any ideas of what could be wrong??

I had the same problem although I was losing coolant in the egr cooler and my white smoke smelled like a combo of diesel and rotten coolant......just did an EGR delete from Liberator Performance......no more white smoke and coolant has stayed the same for two days since i finished the delete on sunday night. I think it solved my problem but may not be your issue if you aren't losing coolant or don't notice a coolant smell

i DONT THINK i'M LOSING COOLANT,,i'LL DOUBLECHECK,,CAUSE AS SOON AS i GET MOVING,,IT CLEARS UP,,NOT COMPLETELY,,BUT LOTS

Mine is doing the same. I stop at a light, 10 sec later smoking like a champ. Go to take off and it puffs smoke then clears up. Try unplugging your egr valve and taking it for a drive. Mine didnt smoke when i did this.
