We buy and sell Fords all the time. They never have the card showing the codes. I have in the past found the computer with codes on it. I think I have found the computer behind the glove box but cannot find the keypad code on it. Can I get the software for my laptop to hook into the computer to read the codes like a dealer does? Or a cheap reader? Any suggestions welcome Thanks
User manual states: 'The keypad can be operated with
the factory set 5–digit entry code;this code is located on the owner’s
wallet card in the glove box, is marked on the computer module,
and is available from your authorized dealer. You can also create your own 5–digit personal entry code.'
So, you need to determine where the computer module is. On earlier models it was in the jack storage area in the cargo area. I don't think that is true on the 03's. Do a search on '2003 keypad code', and I'm sure you will get hits.
