howdy. I've got a 1997 F-250HD (old body style) powerstroke 4x4. I would like to replace the rubber spring bushings with greasable polyurethane bushings. My problem is finding them for the F-250. I'm new to 4x4s and haven't made many connections yet. thanx
Hi whd507, You didn't spec if you want them for the front or rear springs. So, here it goes, the most known company is "Energy Suspension" out of Ca., at http://www.energysuspension.com. These folks should be able to hook you up. However, when used in the rear, they tend to make the suspension stiffer, great for handling and hauling, not so good for fleoffroad), the local spring shop here recomended staying with the rubber in the rear due to the fact they believe the poly contributes to spring failure rate increase. They have recommended them in the front due to the above stated reasons. Good luck, Chuck
