Ford Diesel Help
Hi Guy's, New to the thread. I'm a Duramax guy looking to buy a Ford diesel offered to me in a new motor home unit Host Campers | Motorcoach(Host RV 270). I have an opportunity to buy a NEW 2007 6.0 liter VS. a NEW 6.4 liter (alot more money). I guess this topic has been beat to death but any help would really be appreciated before I lay down a ton of cash. I'm not real concerned but I also wonder if either has a mileage advantage. Also, I do most of my own maintenace (Oil/fuel filter etc/very simple) on my Duramax now, can this work be done by an owner or does it need to be taken to a shop? We would be using this motorhome to go all over the US and Canada. Weight of the unit dry is 14,000 lbs so I'm not sure which motor would benefit me. I have been looking hard and have decided on this rig and would like to grab it while it's still available at the price I was given. Thank you in advance for your replies. Paul
