down shift vibration
when in overdrive I begin to accelerate or maintain speed on a grade the trany down shifts and vibrates on the shift.
the vibration feels like a rough spot or a rumble strip in the road, I thought it was the road at first,
anyone have any thoughts?

I wish i could help you. My 2004 fx4 with 25000 miles has a shutter and vibration as well. It vibrates at 1200 to 1800 rpm. It has been to the stealership 3 times for this problem. The problem exsists all the time. But the stealership does not know what it is. Hope someone knows.

the truck has about 67,000 it's an 04, yes the transmission has been serviced at the dealer,
this vibration happens for about a second as it shifts from overdrive, and only from overdrive, there is no vibration shifting from other gears

I have an 04 with 70,000 mile and am experiencing the exact same problem. Most noticable as it shifts out of overdrive. Acclerating around 45-55 miles per hour produces the vibration every time.
Anyone have some ideas?
