how to remove emblems

Hi Rock,
The 48-52 F1s did not come with Custom Cab Logo's originally. The fancy schmancy version of the Bonus Builts was the "Five Star Deluxe Cab" model. So, someone has added those to your truck. Chances are they are glued on, or held in place by "push nuts" inside the door. The push nuts will be fairly small and flat against the inside sheet metal.
Chances are if there are no clips or push nuts (which will be fairly small and close to the sheet metal) they are glued on. If that is the case you are just going to have to gently pry them off.
OBTW if you bust one, LMC sells all years of them.

Don't pry them off if you have the glued on type, You can snap the emblem or pull paint off the door. Get a piece of fishing string and use it like a saw between the emblem and the door metal going back and forth. The wire string will separate the emblem without ruining the paint or the emblem.

Hi Rock,
Here's a couple links to the pages in the LMC catalogue. There are a few different styles so take a look and it should tell you what year these are from.
