F250 Dual Tank Removal
A friend has a 1995? F250 with Dual Tanks. The pump in the rear tank is bad, and he has to remove the tank to replace it. He thinks that the bed has to be removed to remove the rear tank. I have never heard of removing a bed to remove a fuel tank.
Does the bed have to be removed to remove the rear fuel tank?
What has to be done to remove the rear tank?

no u dont have to remove the bed... who ever said that is on crack j/k
remove the spare tire if it still has it hanging there
then loosen the bolts in the straps (4 of them one on each end of the 2 bars)
place a floor jack under it if u have fuel in it
then take the filler neck lose and finish taking the bar/strap things the rest of the way off drop the tank down
oh and yea unhook the fuel lines and plug on the sending unit
*no bed removal necessary altho may be easier lol good luck
