Window Regulator/Motor HELP!!
So I put my windows down earlier today and I heard a screetching noise come from the passenger side front window on its way down. When I put it back up it made the same noise. As the window made it all the way up, it just STRAIGHT fell down inside the door. As if things aren't difficult enough at this current moment, it made me pretty mad.
I took off the door panel and investigated, the regulator/motor is shot. Something broke inside of it. There is even a ton of slack in the cable that runs the regulator. I called two local parts stores and noone carry's a new one yet. Anyone have some advice for me on this? Better yet, has this happened to anyone else? What did you do to fix it? I'm guessing a new one bolted in should fix everything, but where did you get the new one? Im guessing my next step is call the dealer on monday morning.
