Engine code help

I had the codes pulled for my 2001 f250 5.4 V8 because the Service Engine light kept coming on.
They read P1151 P1152 - Manufacturer control Fuel air metering.
My haynes repair manual doesn't even show these codes?
I told the kid what my truck was maybe he screwed it up?
If these codes are right I have no clue what this even means so any help there would be great.

Probably time for a new upstream O2 sensor on the passenger side.

P1151 - Lack of HO2S-21 Switch, Sensor Indicates Lean

Detailed Description...

A HEGO sensor indicating lean at the end of a test is trying to correct for an over-rich condition. The test fails when fuel control system no longer detects switching for a calibrated amount of time.

Possible causes...

Electrical:
Short to VPWR in harness or HO2S.
Water in harness connector.
Open/Shorted HO2S circuit.
Corrosion or poor mating terminals and wiring.
Damaged HO2S.
Damaged PCM.

Fuel System:
Excessive fuel pressure.
Leaking/contaminated fuel injectors.
Leaking fuel pressure regulator.
Low fuel pressure or running out of fuel.
Vapor recovery system.

Induction System:
Air leaks after the MAF.
Vacuum leaks.
PCV system.
Improperly seated engine oil dipstick.

EGR System:
Leaking gasket.
Stuck EGR valve.
Leaking diaphragm or EVR.

Base Engine:
Oil overfill.
Cam Timing.
Cylinder compression.
Exhaust leaks before or near the HO2S(s).

So the code pretty much means anything could be wrong with my truck?

I was asking my self the same question. I am not much of a expert when it comes to gassers, but I figured I could at least look up the codes. They are usually remotely helpful, but in this case not so much.

At this point Steve's suggestion looks the best...

You can find more diagnostic information at the link below, but it does not look like there is much you can do without the proper diagnostic equipment...

Since it's two codes, basically mutually exclusive:

P1151 Lack Of HO2S-21 Switch Indicates Lean (Ford)
P1152 Lack Of HO2S-21 Switch Indicates Rich (Ford)

Both for bank 2.

However, reading a few Google hits for issues with these codes for Fords, it actually might be the MAF. Clean it and reset the computer and see if they come back.

Bank 2 is the driver's side. If the codes come back after cleaning the MAF, and you have no vacuum leaks, I'd change the driver's side O2 sensor.

Replace the upstream sensor on the DRIVER'S side (I previously indicated the wrong side - probably didn't read closely enough).

You have two codes that directly contradict each other. That is almost always an indication that the sensor has gone south.
