P0407

My wifes '01 Taurus with the 3.0 V6 and auto trans is currently showing this trouble code. Anyone know what exactly might be causing this P0407 code? I found a reference that says "Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor "B" circuit low" if that helps, or is even accurate. The car runs just fine, but it is inspection time and I need to get the light off.

P0407 code

this code usually mean you need to replace the EGR what i have found is you usually remove it clean out the carbon and replace it it will work like new
