you have 2 wires from the pigtail. and then they run up into the main harness and run along the frame rail. just test one wire at a time from the Pig tail 3 feet up with ur OHM tester. then move down another 3 feet and other and another testing for a bad spot. my guess a broken wire would be within the first 2-4 feet from the pig tail.

and are you 100% sure that you got the right VSS. these OBS VSS get there readings for magnatisam<---spelling? if the new one is not magnetic id take it back

So I came up hard to yellow light and braked hard. Felt ABS kick in twice and then the speedo started working again! Lasted about 40 miles and then kicked out of cruise. Needle started periodically jumping back and forth between the posts, odometer started flashing, odometer started losing mileage (lost 4 miles automatically at one point) and even flipped into trip mode at one point.

Would you say my problem is the PSOM?

Aaron, call it a hunch but there's a small chance it could be the PSOM
