Sub Box For 2003 F250 Cc Sd

I tried to put an Alpine Type R in a box behind the back seat, but there just wasn't enough room. Only bout 7 inches of depth there. Had to put box in the middle in the back. I toyed with the idea of building console with a sub built in between the front seats, but decided that was way to much work. Im also not a fan of MTX unless you just want go for loudness.

Not sure if you are interested, but the 2008 Super Duty Audiophile sub fits great behind the rear seat of my 05. I guess that is obvious since it was designed for the Super Duty. Regardless if you are interested I can measure mine, but it isn't just a flat box since it is molded to fit in the various recesses etc of the back panel and floor.
Here are some pics, maybe it will help with ideas.

I fit a single JL-10w3 behind my rear seat. There's room for 2 if I wanted to add another. The box I found that actually fit came from Best Buy: Audio Innovations - 10" Truck Sealed Subwoofer Enclosure - Dark Blue - QLT-.6510S
The rear of that box has a cutout that will just barely give enough room for the magnet to fit without hitting the box. It works great, fits just right, and my little lonesome 10" sub hits really hard.
I wouldn't go with the MTX speakers, they can't handle the power from a good amp.
