Thanks in advance Dave
It is on a '95 F350. The brake is vacuum operated with one relay under the dash for the IVS and a second relay co-located with the solenoid valve in the engine compartment to cancel cruise.
I think it's tied into the EPV control somehow so that it will also operate like the old valve... and that part appears to be where my problem is.

I can appreciate you not wanting to spend more money and I am by no means just trying to sell you something here, that not how I operate,my goal is to get you fixed.
The DFIV is the controller we use in our new brakes and would be an upgrade for you but like you said, it may not be necessary. I am not one of the tech here so do not want to get into all the wiring with you over the forum, probably steer you wrong anyway LOL
If you like, call here toll free and ask for Pat, he is the tech on shift today and is here until 5PM pacific time. He is good with these brakes and could probably assist you. I will brief him in preparation for your call if you so choose to call, tell him you are from FTE site.
