well i just changed my oil today and i am planing on sending my sample to get it ran but i been seeing some folks on here saying blackstone is kind of going down hell where else would be a good place to send my sample too for a good result if anyone could help me greatly appreciated....
Where did you hear Blackstone was going down hill? I haven't heard that. I've used them several times and will be using them again in the near future. On top of that, they're a site sponsor giving me more reason to use them.
To your question, Dyson Analysis is another service that you could try. I haven't used them but I've heard them mentioned by others as another alternative.
I haven't heard of any slack in Blackstone's service either; been using them for 5 years. In fact, I called them after my last analysis came back and the service was lightning fast. They have their $#!& in a very neat pile if you ask me.
mybad i just ran a search on this site and it had a few post about blackstone lab was going down hill sorry didnt mean to cause a deal with it i'll probably still send my sample to them anyway...
only good things from them IMO. i have asked them to do so unusually tests too. always very helpful in emails and on the phone. they even take the time, at least for me, to explain what's going on in not such scientific terms when on the phone.
I've always appreciated the fact that they explain what the oil contaminants are and their likely source. I'm not a chemistry guy...just a guy who's spent a lot of money on his diesel truck and want peace of mind to know that I'm taking proper care of the truck.
i just ordered a kit and they said they offer dyson analysis at blackstone labs. it is actually a personal interpretation of test results by terry dyson. Blackstone Laboratories - Dyson Analysis
