i know about the torq converter deal,a buddy of mine said i will need to notch passenger side of frame to clear ext.manifold. you ever here of this? it is a "79" bronco, thanks for the info.
I will have to go home tonight and look, I don't think that I notched the frame on my 80 with 460, it's been way to long ago when it was put in the truck for me to remember off the top of my head, CRS.
On a 1979 Bronco you shouldn't have to notch the frame! I know for a fact, the only reason you'd have to notch is when you would use passenger car manifolds. truck manifolds fit with no mods. RW sorry about not posting, my computer is dead.

all right i`ll go with that,it came out of a "76" lincoln.i think i`m gonna go with a set of fenderwell hedders to by-pass all of that, what do yunz think.
You'll love the fenderwell headers! Depending on the brand you may have to relocate the swaybar to the bottom of the frame. RW
