You can look in my gallery at my old 88' and my current 90'. Both are running 38's with 6" lift. (minor rubbing) The cut out fender flares probubly make more differnce than the lift.
I have to disagree on the TTB. I have heard the 35" limit many times. But I have been running 38's (with lockers) for over ten years now and the only problem is the ocastional busted u-joints. I use to run the 88' hard wheeling too! I've heard they have new stronger after-market u-joints.
What do you guys think of 33's? x12.5? too small?
Will the 2 inch lift make the above combo look funky? I don't want it to look like a jacked up roller skate with dinky little wheels!
BE brutally honest....I can take it!!
The 35's on that crew cab truck look sexy.
Yes I am attempting to stay away from the crazy pinion angles....
This is so strange, I haven't actually linked one of these photos in ages but Greystreak ran with 15x10 MT Challengers on 33x12.5 BFG A/Ts with 4" of Tuff Country suspension lift.
If you dont want to go the extension route, you can cut the bumper with a Sawsall. It is way easier than I thought it would be and nobody even notices it's been cut. Cutting does not limit your aproach angle. (although a couple inches isnt going to change it much)
