Excursion lifts
I have a few questions for those of you that have lifted your Excursions. I have a buddy with a '00 4X4, and he has a 7" lift, and would like to fit a set of 37" tires under it.. Unfortunately, there are very few options that we have come across to fit his 16.5X9.75 Weld Typhoons. Has anybody been able to fit 37s, what tire did you go with, and how high of a lift did you have to go to acheive this? It may be that he has to go to a 17" wheel, because his BFG 35"s just look to small on the beast now....

my 37" fit with a 8" lift.
16.5 are not a popular size because the tims do not have the saftty lip and thete ate few tires available for them. the GY mtr military tires are the most used in that 26.5 x 37.
personaly id go with the 17" rims
