There are absolutely things you should do.
You need to replace....tires, and rims, and lift it, and add a programmer, a cold air intake, and some over-cab lights.

it'll fit, but not the easiest to deal with. i have a s'crew which is awesome, but my wife went with some friends of ours one day in their s'cab and while it fit, getting it in and out was a pain compared to the s'crew...so she said.

Rear facing seats are nearly impossible in a SCab, unless you don't mind a front seat crammed up toward the dash or flipped nearly all the way forward.
I can only get one of ours to fit in the center position, and it has to wedge in between the upper sections of the front seats.
Luckily, kids aren't that small for too long, and front facing seats are a whole lot easier.
