Here is the pic that trophyhunter sent me:

I am pretty sure everyone knows where he is talking about now though but I thought I would post it any how. I tried finding a pic of the back of a 7.3l but couldnt. I am sure someone will have one.

Is there a freeze plug at the back on the block? I thought there was only two on the sides?

The lower freeze plugs that you would normally remove when you do coolant flushes etc are not shown in that diagram.

If those "plugs" on the rear of the upper block should be seized in there pretty good. I'd never imagine that they would back themselves out and leak.

The clutch/bell housing would definitely have to be removed if they are.

Thanks Neal....that looks like a freeze plug to me left side under the bell housing.....I am thinking we found his culprit,I would think that is the only place it could be for antifreeze to come out from the inspection plate.....I hope that is visible with the plate off.
