Oil pan replacement?
Tried search; it didn't seem to be working...
When I was dropping the oil out of the 351W in my 92 F150 4x2 yesterday, I couldn't help but notice a bunch of rust/flaking paint on the pan. Enough rust that I'm very uncomfortable with the pans long-term structural integrity.
It was getting dark and I didn't spend a lot of time under there looking at how to remove the pan.
Has anyone done an in-frame pan replacement on a truck like mine? Will I be able to get enough clearance just by undoing the engine mounts and lifting the engine a couple inches?

on a v8 you need to take off intake manifold, the fan shroud, the exhaust and remove bolts from motor mounts and trans mount.
and you still will barely be able to get it out.
do an advanced search in this section on oil pan removal and you will get hundreds of hits.
