i changed motors and trans from a 92 f350 into my 95 f350 both 460g and e4od had to change trans wireing harness from 92 to 95 also plugs were diff changed comp also cause shifter was flashing. flashing went away as soon as i change comp.. but now check eng light comes on after driveing a bit sometimes in a block and sometimes a few miles a friend scanded it and that were i am at now it drives well and shifts very good i should say light clears every time i shut it off and reststart.
It would depend if the 624 code was from KOEO or CM.
If it was KOEO then it would be wiring or bad solenoid.
But if it was from CM then it is a different story.
If it came from CM it entails a long drive circuit driving test the details of that I will not post right now unless you come back and say it was CM and you need them.
How did you get the code 624?
KOEO = "Key On Engine Off" during the EEC-IV quick test.
After this test gets done then the computer will put out the CM codes.
CM = "Continuous Memory" is the problems that the computer has seen while driving.

not shure if key was on one time but it was on two other times and running them two times it was on. i was just a buy stander as mec was looking at it 4 me
i am now thinking it is a conection or wireing problem cause today when i was useing it light came on after crossing railroadtracks and other times when it was wheel hopping a bit in the sand. i mite had not beating on it, i have a 3-4 yard dump on it was halling sand in the woods
