All in good time Jacob, took me a while but it makes it that much worthwhile.
Here's my problem no $$$$$$ I'm sure i could convince my Dad to let me put gauges on his truck by saying "Dad IF we ever have a problem the gauges will help the guys on FTE guess what is happening with the truck" The 6637 he wouldn't care about I think. And the BTS-VB and 4 inch exhaust I could install when he is away on a trip with help from friends.
Mike.......if it came down to affording it, and it was me and I knew then what I know now........I'd skip the 120 completely and go straight to the 140. It's a big difference
The reason he recommended the 120 is because of getting full power through the whole powerband, meaning when i tromp on it and keep it floored it doesn't cut out after a certain speed. It will keep pulling throughout the pedal.

Tranny should be fine for now.
Parkland, you can get whatever you want but Jody or Diane will give you advice on what tunes you can handle and what they recommend, but its your call, your the customer.
How is the 140 tune for driveability? any reason not to use it daily?
I worry about the tranny, but apparently the DP-Tuner turns up the pressure or something to that effect.
Parkland,
Here is a little information I put together on our website that describes each tune and what it is recomended for. We don't recommend the 140 for your Daily driver tune.
On my truck, the 120 & 140 dynoed virtually identically (the 120R tune actually edged it out by like 2 HP, statistically insignificant). The only difference is the amount of smoke at take off, and maybe when you get on it while rolling.
Call him back and tell him to add the 140, trust me, you WANT the 140......
check that, you NEED the 140. call him now. don't delay, limited time offer, as seen on FTE!
Hes right its my favorite tune

The awsomeness factor on the 140 is about 100 times more than the awsomeness factor on the 120...

I saw no improvement as I went up in tunes on the dyno either. We surmised this was most likely due to heat soak. Next time I dyno I will hit it on the 140 right away.

I completely agree, I very rarely use my 120 tune anymore!
Gotta watch your EGTs in the 140 though.
Changine, chit, i,m getting the 120 and 140...Originally Posted by big poppa pump
