reverse lights

reverse lights
I went to get my 1994 xlt ranger inpected today and noticed that none of the reverse lights are working, the bulbs are good can anyone help me? or tell me were the reverse switch is. It has a standard tranny.

Reverse (Back-up) Lights
My Ranger works just fine but I have this problem with my Ford Windstar (1999 3.8L v-6) as the tail lights, brake lights, and back-up lights do not work properly. I have been informed, following a $300.00 labor tab for investigating the problem, that there is an REM (Rear Electronic Module) included as part of the lighting and power mangement system that is bad and will cost $438.00 parts/$170.00 labor to replace. This is what is standing between me and my vehicle inspection so right now my Windstar has a new place - parked. I cannot just go to a salvage yard and find another REM as these have to be "PROGRAMMED" 
before they will function so I am going to try some wire splicing and bi-passing tonight and this week-end.

Bend a paper clip, shove it into the connector & turn the key. Got backup lights?
