Zf5 reverse lights pigtail?
i got a diesel trans, can anone confirm the reverse light pin is the same as at the washer pump? Or have a part number or an extra one they can sell

772 looks pretty good. Ima call up dealer tomorrow and ask em to see if it lines up with that. Orr..guess i could have just called em and asked for that specific part in the first place lol.

Well, I was wrong. It is only the lug on the side of the gearbox that is reddish brown. 
Hard to see way up there.
Looks to me most like WPT826 (4U2Z-14S411-FA)

it helped a bunch! we were able to find it finally at the dealer, but they wanted $75 for it! holy hell, how is that possible. You can buy an aluminum waterpump for 60 bucks, but this little plastic dinky thingy is 15 more expensive...HOW?!?!!
however, got me thinking...this is the same pigtail they use on pretty much all manual ford trucks...perhaps a boneyard would have one somewhere cause no one around here has my gen of trucks in the yard (at least not manual)

I guess they figure they have you by the ****'s if you (really) need one.
The best prices I could find online as I edited that post were still around $35 for a 50c piece of hardware.

NAPA also carries a pigtail for the switch; their p/n is EC193 (almost $25, ouch) but it is made offshore and I'm not sure about the quality of it.
I have one of these sitting on my shop bench waiting to be installed.
