Hope they call today!

now...for my morning....AAAAAAAAAGH!!

ok..it wasnt all that bad....Hellooooooooooooo Nurse!

they started at 9:30 checking me in...10 am I went to the wound center...

10:30 they got me into an exam room....the nurse took all my vitals and my medical history

then she measured and took pics of the lesions on my legs

then she put some cream on that was sposed to numb them...

about 12;30, the Dr came in, looked at the wounds, then started cleaning them!

HEY DOC! thats **** dont work!

so 10 painful minutes later, he was happy with his work...

then 2 nurses come in and bandage my legs like a cast...cept it dont harden...

then they wrapped ace bandage over that...they will change it twice a week til no longer needed...someone cutie wanna give me a sponge bath or 20?

DR gave me a prescription for antibiotics...and wanted chest xrays and an ekg....which I just had 3 weeks ago...so they are gonna get copies...whew!

they called the insurance company for authorization to put me in an oxegen hyperbaric chamber for 2 hours a day, 5 days a week for a few weeks...

HOLY CRAP! I got home at 2 pm after a 30 minute side trip to walgreens!

the things you gotta do to get healthy...no wonder people stay sick!

Wow, what a day Mark. Why the hyperbaric changer, I have only heard it used for the bends from diving. Did they say how long they expect it to take your lesions to heal?

The dealership called and big red is done, just waiting on Chrysler to cut a $2700.00 for the repairs. Hopefully they do that tomorrow so I can get the truck back and take a look at the front end.

To tell you the truth I didn't even ask, Mark. I completely spaced it when he called.

Greetings everyone from Columbus, OH.

The weekend with the inlaws wasn't all that bad. My FIL left on Tuesday, and I kinda wish my MIL had too. It sucked that my last night at home was spent with her around the house. Oh well, what can you do.

My FIL loooooooved Tombstone. We also took them to Tortilla Flat and up the AT a lil bit from there. All in all, a good weekend.

I have no idea what's happened since I last posted Friday morning. Hopefully all has gone well.

Oh, one lil request, if I could. One of my aunts passed away yesterday. Her chemo quit working and she went home Friday. Didn't make it very long. She was a great lady. So, for those of you who say a lil prayer before bed at night, please include her and the family. Thanks!

My MIL will stay until Saturday. I feel sorry for my wife. They're both great gals, but they will drive each other nuts by the end of the week. And I'm sure that my MIL will harp a lil more on my wife for moving away from TN. They only made one comment about that when I was around. That was one too many.

Thanks for your thoughts & prayers. My aunt beat breast cancer, then lost her eyesight to diabetes. Early this year, the cancer was back. Chemo started in May, but stopped working in August. The new chemo made her life a living hell (lots of internal fluid buildup), so she & my uncle decided last week that it was time to go home. At least she's happy and comfy now.
