Hello all. Last workday of the week for me. Off to Lone Pine tomorrow AM - Quail opener on Saturday and I want to scout out a couple of spots.

Like that beef jerky joint that Ron was talking about in Olancha.

Morning Steve, it's my friday also. Hey Pheasant season is just a week away. Won't be going out the first day, since I'll be at the Nebraska/Baylor game that morning, but I plan on getting some time with the shotgun this year.

I'm hearing that the bird population is up in the area's I go. I hope so, it hasn't been worth a damn the last few years. Lots of walking, and no birds.

Weekend

My Jeeps on the trailer,the trucks loaded with fuel and camping stuff and I'm off to Ocotillo Wells for some Wheeling fun. Its a fun raiser for CAL4WD and the Paralized veterns of San Diego county. No birds one is luckey to see a Jackrabbit.
