I am thinking about to get the Snow kit, and I found a long thread about it here on FTE. Here it is :

I've been considering adding a Snow Stage II kit to mine. It would help keep EGT's in line when towing up long grades, more so than an aftermarket intercooler and at about 1/2 the price.

Russ, after you told me to shy away from an A/M intercooler, I started looking deep into the Water/Meth kits and people have had great experiences with them. Snow does seem to be the company to stick with since they try to focus heavily on diesels. Their Stage 3 kit is awesome since it has it's own EGT and Boost gauge in it.

I was about to buy one used from a guy and he said that it dropped his EGT's almost 250F while pulling the hills in his Dodge Cummins.

It's a great way to go without spending all the money for an intercooler.

yeah i have been thinking about the Max MPG stage III kit lately but am still not sure about spending a grand on the system. on there website it says stuff like how it comes with gauges so you don't need to buy gauges but what if you already have those gauges can the kit do w/o that part and still work and get the 1-3 mpg's increase with the up to 300 deg EGT or is it all intergraded/needed? just trying to save money and plus i don't want my truck all super crowded with monitor devices and then when spartan gets the DD out and if i get that then it will just be to much for me personally.

anyone running the Snow Max MPG III kit w/ real personal results?? would like to here from you.

THANKS

The Snow Max III looks like the kit to get. I will be doing a lot more towing this winter, so anything that helps the EGT's. Like adambomb said, need to hear from someone who has the kit. There has to be someone out there.....
