Well Santa brought me some extended radius arms for Christmas and I was wondering if anyone knew about the radius arm brackets from different model Fords. You see I have a 4 inch Pro-Comp lift on my 1994 Bronco now, but it was installed with drop brakcets for the radius arms, and the stock brackets were not included when I bought the truck. Now that I have extended radius arms I need to get my hands on the stock radius arm brackets. Ok now here is where I need the help, will radius arms brackets from a 2 wheel drive 1986 F-150 be the same as on the four wheel drive? I know that these radius arms will fit any four whell drive 1/2 ton or Bronco from 1980 - 1996.
I believe the 2 whl drive ones will work. My nieghbor has a E150 2 whl drive van and his brackets are the same size as the ones on my 1982 4X4 F150 his van is a 1984.
i have what you need right here. i own a 86 ford and when i lifted it i keep all the old brackets incase i would need to take the lift off say if i was going to sell it. i think one might have a couple of grind marks on it from where i had to grind off the ribbets but other than that there brand new i guess you could say... let me know if you want them i could send them or something i don't really know how much there worth of anything just name a price or something.
Thanks for the info guys, I appreciate the offer, but I have a buddy with a 1986 F-150 that he is parting out so he is going to let me have the brackets off of it.
As always nothing but great info on this site.
