Can't go wrong with J Woods or BTS. Do it right the first time and you will have a tranny for life.....

edit: cool! another T Wildman tuned truck on FTE!

Jon Faubion builds great tranny's also. He's one of the few guys that Brain (BTS) trusts to install or work on his trannys. I've had mine in for @ 3 years and have towed cross country with it many times. T Wildman is running a Faubion tranny also, but it isn't any cheaper than a BTS or J Woods..... IIRC Jon Faubion's PSD was the first truck that Tony tuned besides his own....

a rebuild won't be nearly as strong. It won't contain the pump mod, upgraded HD parts & triple disc torque converter.

If you make an appontment with BTS (lead Hill, Arkansas) you can drive down there, stay at the hotel next door, then the next day they will install your tranny, take a test drive, and make any adjustments - then send you on your way. Many folks have done it that way - and with a 2 year unlimited warranty - you can't beat it.
