flywheel question

i know that you are supposed to mark the flywheel and the crank before removing the flywheel. what if you have a motor that has no flywheel on it nad you are putting another on on. My question is is it very important that it goes on exactly the same way that it came off, for balancing purposes. it is on a 351m with a manual tranny. how can I make sure that it will not mess any thing up or does it really matter how it goes back on. thanks

The flywheel bolt holes will only line up one way so there is no wrong way.
