Clunking

On and off the fuel pedal and I can feel a clunking. Feels like a loose drive shaft but I don't feel any play by hand, 2002 7.3 4wd auto.

Welcome to FTE. The clunking could be coming from many different places. Can you tell if it is from the front? Middle? Rear? Maybe you have some slop in the rearend. Try jacking both rear tires off the ground on jack stands, chock the front tires and with the tranny in nuetral, engine off, see if you can duplicate the sound by rotating the tires by hand. Other will chime in with some more ideas.

I'm betting that the drive shaft yoke needs lubed.
