Question Bronco tailgate doesn't work

I have an '95 Bronco 4x4 and the tailgate doesn't open and the window wouldn't go down. It's also beginning to rust out badly. Should I replace the complete tailgate with a used factory piece or rebuild my original?

I'd check with local salvage yards to see how much that would cost first. Then knowing you have that option, tear into yours to see what your real problems are. All depends on how comfortable you are with doing your own work. If window is electric it can be expensive to replace/repair.

IIRC ..there are elec contacts that can corrode pull the interior panel if you can & put 12 v's to the window motor may work...
