I just wanted to thank you for all the help your were . I definitely would not have bought the truck, if you did not recommend it. I am exited to work on the tear down of the wrecker now because I know what project is next. I have to take the wrecker to the sandblaster on Monday. He said two weeks later he will have it blasted and ready for paint. Again I can't thank you enough for the help, and I hope all went well with Floyd in loading the truck up.
I enjoyed doing it and hope it is what you are looking for. Hard to be someone elses eyes but sometimes that is what it takes. I'm glad to see another old Ford saved from the scrap yard. I have always thought this looked like a unique old truck and too good to see waste away.
I hope you find an appropriate trailer and look forward to seeing it hooked up with a load on it.
What does it cost to have Frank sandblast the truck? I am blasting all my own truck parts and just wonder to see what the pros charge. I drove the 71 to a car show last night and the water pump is making noise and time to look at that.
I am taking that old 56 from up in Conn. apart and saving the cab and column. It is so big and I do not need it. I am staying away from them big-uns now---tooo heavy!!
When are you comin' up and see my truck-show,LOL ? Bill
