wont shift into 4x4
Help! 2004 f-150 wont go into 4wd I was having problem with solenoid so I replaced solenoid. still had grinding noise passenger side I replaced actuators on both sides checked vacume all is well (so I thought) front weels freewheel no grinding turn switch to 4wd high hubs will not lock in check solenoid i still have vacume when there should not be any turn to 4wd low tranny shifts into low gear still no hubs locked in. does anybody have any more sugestions!

since the actuating solenoid is brand new, it should work (not always, but lets hope it does). my next step would be to check the wiring that controls the soleniod, and make sure that its getting power. is there a fuse for the switch somewhere? i havent looked into that, but that would be my first step.

I checked all fuses all good.
I have voltage to one side of the solenoid constant 12+
volts but the control side of the soleoid is not getting voltage and I cant find out where this is supposed to be comeing from
