Power Window Regulator
Read here that this is a pretty common problem. My 04 drivers side went out yesterday. Dealer wants $144 for the part. Autozone has one for $45. Has anyone here actually used the part from Autozone? Wondering if it will hold up at least as good as the Ford part. Thanks.

Its a Supercrew. No the Ford part for $144 does not include the motor.

there are many aftermarket regulators out there. i have been in the glass biz for 30 years and the design you mentioned i have used both oem and aftermarket and its a tossup just check about what kind of warrenty they have with it

I think the $144.00 was for labor, or they quoted you the wrong power window regulator. Or they are giving you a discount off list price.
you may want to double check with them.
