Replacement Rear Factory DVD Unit

Hey Guys,

I have a 2002 ex with the factory installed audiovox dvd player and drop down screen where the actual dvd player mounts on the headliner to the right of the dvd drop down screen . When I purchased my truck someone had removed the actual dvd player as well as taken the screen out of the truck. I would like to replace this unit and am wondering where to find one. I have the rear controls for the heat and ac on the ceiling so I dont have alot of options other than to replace the factory unit unless I want to pay someone to fab up a new custom piece. I haven't had much luck finding a replacement system and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction.

Did they just remove the LCD screen from the case and leave you the LCD frame, or did they take the LCD and the plastic frame? I have a Factory DVD player and "LCD only" that I removed from my 2003 when I went aftermarket.

They left the frame. Here is a pic of what I have. If it will fit I would love to see about figuring something out with you.

The DVD player will fit. Did they leave the factory harness in place?

From the picture it looks like they took the flip-down frame the the LCD mounts in. I don't have that piece as I am still using it in my setup. I looked for the part number but couldn't locate it.

I would be happy work something out, but without the LCD mounting frame I don't think it it will be of much use.

The Harness is missing but the wiring is there although cut but useable I would guess. As far as locating a mouting frame for the lcd I believe that unit was made by audiovox so we shoud be able to track one down through them I would guess. I just sent you a pm with my cell. Let's chat and see what you the details are.
