just wondering for all of those who do have CB radios if you run the antenna wires through a grommet in the firewall, and if so which one? if not, then where?
I ran mine the same way. I ran the coax cable in through the cowling, down the fender, a little ways down the body rail, then over and in through the body plug under the brake pedal. I put a tiny slit in the plug, ran the cable, then put it back in place and sealed it up with black silicone.
I cut a small slit in the grommet around the steering column. With the clutch in the way that was my only option. Just make sure the wires are zip tied away from the steering shaft. Mine's been that way for 3 years with no problems.
