Looks like I don't have any heat in my rear window defoster. A couple years ago I had to get the special super glue to put one of the tabs back on. But it had been working fine. Now looks like zero. I think the mirrors are working.
How would I go about trouble shooting them. What voltage/ground and where.
I did switch the auto window relay and the defrost. Window still works. I checked the MAXI fuse in the engine compartment. It looks good. What other fuses should I be looking for ?
One side is 12 volts, the other side is ground. If you connect a meter lead to each of these wires at the same time and turn on the RD you should get 12 volts. You can also take the ground side and check to see if it has continuity to some body metal. If you do get 12 volts when connecting to both wires then the circuit is good and the problem is with the grid on the rear glass or it's terminals.
